A 15-year-old high school football player's death was due to congenital heart disease.

That's according to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office. Jackson Pfister, an Esko High School sophomore, died Friday night after collapsing during the team's varsity game in Aitkin.

Funeral services are Sunday in Cloquet.
