UPDATE:

Officers were dispatched for a possible kidnapping that had just occurred in the City of Fargo. A preliminary investigation done by officers on scene led them to believe there was a great likelihood that the female believed to be kidnapped was in danger.
Regional notifications were made to regional law enforcement and the female along with the suspected male were located in Rural Barnes County North Dakota. Both are safe.

The investigation will be ongoing.

Fargo Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman who is believed to have been kidnapped.

Police say 33 year old Kristin Dawn Hettervig, notified her brother that she was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, identified as 41 years old Matthew Thomas Roy Hanson.

Police say they may be traveling in a white GMC pickup truck with a possible North Dakota plate of 535 AZX.

Their last known location was Barnes County in North Dakota.

Fargo Police say If you have any information as to their whereabouts, to please call 911.
