Today is the 18th Anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks on the United States of America.

The Fergus Falls Fire Department commemorated the 911 anniversary with two ceremonies, the first at 7:46am when the first plane hit and a second one at 9:38am when the north tower was struck. Capt. Tyler Armstrong said last year a few from the department went to Ground Zero in New York…

A final remembrance ceremony will take place at 7:44pm, where the flag at the Fire Station will be returned to full staff with Taps being played. The public is invited to attend.
