Henning Teen Struck By Vehicle

A Henning teen was injured after being struck by a vehicle near his residence Sunday afternoon. According to the State Patrol, 16-year-old Vincent Rose had exited a vehicle across the street from his house on Douglas Avenue, which is also Highway 108, in Henning, and was crossing the street back to his residence. The Patrol says Rose stopped for a westbound vehicle, but as he crossed into the eastbound lanes, he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old woman from Vining. Rose was transported to the hospital in Wadena with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The accident happen around 12:45pm Sunday.
