The Minnesota Department of Health is confirming two more deaths from severe lung injuries related to vaping.
Officials say two patients over age 50 died in September following difficulty breathing and complicated hospitalizations.
The first patient vaped a number of products including illegal T-H-C cartridges.
The second patient had severe underlying conditions and is believed to have vaped unknown products and nicotine.
There are now 73 confirmed or probable cases of lung illness in Minnesota related to vaping and another 32 cases are being reviewed.
Health Commissioner Jan Malcom says it's particularly important to avoid vaping anything containing illegal cannabis products.
The state's first vaping-related death was in August.
