One Dead, One Critically Injured in Vehicle Collision in Marshall County

An Alexandria man died and a woman was seriously injured following a two vehicle collison on Highway 219 near Thief River Falls Wednesday afternoon.
The State Patrol says just before 4:30pm a Nissan Frontier was southbound MNTH 219 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee was northbound MNTH 219. The Frontier entered a curve in the roadway and crossed over the center line colliding with the Jeep Cherokee.
The driver of the Frontier, 43 Samantha Lunsetter, and driver of the Jeep, 58 year old Kevin McCormick, were airlifted from the scene with life-threatening conditions. McCormick died at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
