Supreme Court Justice Lillehaug Has Parkinson's Won't Seek Re-election

Minnesota Supreme Court Associate Justice David Lillehaug has Parkinson's disease and will not seek re-election next year.
Sixty-five-year-old Lillehaug expects to resign on July 31st, 2020.
Lillehaug issued a statement saying, " I have loved my six years of work on the Court and had planned to serve for a few more years. But my plan has changed because I have Parkinson's disease."
He says it's at an early stage, is well-managed and he's feels great. Lillehaug says the opportunity to work with his colleagues for the people of Minnesota continues to be "the greatest honor of my life."
