Two former coaches at the University of Minnesota Duluth are appealing the dismissal of their federal discrimination lawsuit.

Former U-M-D softball coach Jen Banford and former women's basketball coach Annette Wiles are fighting the dismissal of the claims of sexual orientation-based on harassment and discrimination.

Ex-women's hockey coach Shannon Miller is also part of the appeal, but has reached a separate tentative settlement with the university.
