(MNN) A 56-year-old grandmother is charged with two felonies for allegedly smoking meth in front of her grandchild.
Julie Ann Mertins was arrested when the seven-month-old baby’s father went to pick him up and found a man inside the house smoking meth last September.
That man, 45-year-old Jesse David Miller, also faces charges in Waseca County.
Mertins’ daughter said her mother had been taking care of the baby while she worked, but she had no idea meth was being smoked there.
