Cause of Death Determined for Man Found Near St. Cloud Regional Airport Last Week

(KNSI) - The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Tyler Ecklund, who was found dead Saturday near the St. Cloud Regional Airport, died from a gunshot wound.
Following the autopsy report, authorities say they are investigating Ecklund's death as a homicide. Before the cause of death was determined, Sheriff Joel Brott described the death as suspicious.
Ecklund's body was found Saturday in the 1000 block of 55th Avenue Southeast by a passerby. He was identified on Tuesday.

A cash reward is eligible for information leading to the arrest and charges for a suspect or suspects in the death.
