Former Grand Rapids Nursing Home Director Charged With Stealing Drugs

(MNN) A former employee of two nursing homes in Grand Rapids is accused of stealing pain pills and neglecting a patient.
Forty-six-year-old Kimberly Korpi of Goodland is charged with seven counts of felony theft of a controlled substance and mistreatment of a patient in Itasca County.
The criminal complaint says Korpi took Oxycodone and Hydrocodone pills from patients at Majestic Pines and River Grand Senior Living between October 2017 and July 2018.
Korpi is also accused of intentionally neglecting a patient by failing to provide appropriate medications.
Korpi's next court hearing is January.6th.
