(MNN) Thieves in Hong Kong are stealing toilet paper because of shortages caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
Hong Kong Police say armed robbers made off with hundreds of rolls of toilet paper in a heist early today outside a supermarket.
Local reports say two men with knives threatened a delivery man who was unloading the toilet paper, and stole about 600 rolls.
Police have reportedly arrested two men and recovered some of the rolls. Stores across Hong Kong have been running out of toilet paper because of panic-buying triggered by the coronavirus outbreak.
