MDH Report 523 New COVID-19 Cases on Sunday

Numbers released Sunday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 523 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 35,549 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 585,417 tests conducted. 3,585 are health care workers.
Of the 34,616 positive cases, 30,809 patients no longer need to be isolated.
4,010 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 288 of them are still hospitalized. 143 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,425 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 20 cases, Otter Tail has 88 cases. Becker County has 54 cases. Douglas County has 58 cases. Grant County has 6 cases and Clay has 557 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 2,208 cases, Richland County has 41 cases.
There are 3,495 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
