MDH Reports 432 New COVID-19 Cases on Tuesday

Numbers released Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 432 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 85,351 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 1,733,292 tests conducted. 9,265 are health care workers.
Of the 85,351 positive cases, 78,953 patients no longer need to be isolated.
6,979 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 238 of them are still hospitalized. 131 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,927 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 55 cases, Otter Tail has 349 cases. Becker County has 230 cases. Douglas County has 210 cases. Grant County has 56 cases and Clay has 1,180 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 4,328 cases, Richland County has 178 cases.
There are 16,064 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
