MDH Reports 513 new COVID-19 Cases on Wednesday

Numbers released Wednesday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 513 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 85,813 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 1,743,611 tests conducted. 9,303 are health care workers.
Of the 85,813 positive cases, 79,583 patients no longer need to be isolated.
7,019 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 244 of them are still hospitalized. 136 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,933 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 55 cases, Otter Tail has 349 cases. Becker County has 230 cases. Douglas County has 210 cases. Grant County has 57 cases and Clay has 1,165 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 4,407 cases, Richland County has 182 cases.
There are 16,333 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
