MDH Reports 6,812 New COVID-19 Cases on Friday

Numbers released Friday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 6,812 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 249,906 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 3,659,452 tests conducted.
Of the 256,700 positive cases, 202,432 patients no longer need to be isolated.
14,462 cases have required hospitalization so far.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 3,150 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has had 299 cases, Otter Tail County 2,328 cases. Becker County 1,557 cases. Douglas County 1,964 cases, Grant County 205 cases and Clay has had 4,144 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has had 14,630 cases and Richland County has had 970 cases.
There have been 70,016 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
