MDH Reports 813 New Cases COVID-19

Numbers released Friday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 813 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 19,005 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 180,971 tests conducted. 2,216 are health care workers.
Yesterday, there were 18,200 positives and 173,556 tests conducted.
Of the 19,005 positive cases, 12,696 patients no longer need to be isolated.
2,432 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 534 of them are still hospitalized. 233 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 842 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 11 cases, Otter Tail has 52 cases. Becker County has 33 cases. Douglas County has 27 cases. Grant County has 2 cases and Clay has 356 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 1,442 cases, Richland County has 15 cases.
There are 2,317 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
