MDH Reports 847 New COVID-19 Cases on Saturday

Numbers released Saturday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 847 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 19,845 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 189,493 tests conducted. 2,287 are health care workers.
Yesterday, there were 19,005 positives and 180,971 tests conducted.
Of the 19,845 positive cases, 13,485 patients no longer need to be isolated.
2,534 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 568 of them are still hospitalized. 215 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 852 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 11 cases, Otter Tail has 53 cases. Becker County has 32 cases. Douglas County has 27 cases. Grant County has 2 cases and Clay has 361 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 1,487 cases, Richland County has 15 cases.
There are 2,365 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
