MDH Reports 924 New Cases of COVID-19 on Saturday

Numbers released Saturday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 924 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 60,101 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 1,138,595 tests conducted. 6,763 are health care workers.
Of the 60,101 positive cases, 52,768 patients no longer need to be isolated.
5,506 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 309 of them are still hospitalized. 154 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,648 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 34 cases, Otter Tail has 193 cases. Becker County has 152 cases. Douglas County has 139 cases. Grant County has 53 cases and Clay has 779 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 3,028 cases, Richland County has 105 cases.
There are 7,708 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
