MDH Reports over 528 new COVID-19 Cases on Tuesday

Numbers released Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 528 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s total to 11,799 returned positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 115,781 tests conducted.
Yesterday, there were 11,271 positives and 111,088 tests conducted.
Of the 11,799 positive cases, 6,882 patients no longer need to be isolated.
1,716 cases have required hospitalization so far, and 452 of them are still hospitalized. 194 of the current hospitalized are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 591 people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Currently the ages of Minnesotans infected range from less than a month to 104 years with the Median Age of 44.
Wilkin County has 11 cases and 3 deaths, Otter Tail has 25 cases. Becker County has 25 cases. Douglas County has 16 cases. Grant County has 2 cases and Clay has 247 cases and 17 deaths.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 821 cases, Richland County has 9 cases.
There are 1,518 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19. These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
