The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office is looking
for a missing boy. As of 10:20 p.m., the sheriff's office says they have more
than 300 volunteers and don't need anymore. The extra traffic is taking away
resources that could be used to help find the boy.
Deputies say 6-year-old Ethan went missing around 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday in the Becker/Briggs Lake area.
The sheriff’s office says he got off the school bus with his siblings, near Highway 25 and County Road 16, ran off to play with the family dog and hasn't been seen since.
Ethan has blond hair, is wearing a light blue Becker spirit T-shirt, grey Becker sweatpants and blue hoodie with no writing on it.
Call 911 if you see, hear or know anything. The sheriff’s office says at this time, they aren't seeking any volunteers for searching.
They know many people want to help and are coming to the area where Ethan was last seen.
People are being asked to avoid that area and go instead to a staging area at Palmer Park, off County Road 6 and 47 1/2 Street.
