Minnesota Farm Bureau President Kevin Paap will be on hand in Washington as President Trump signs "phase one" of a trade deal with China.
It reportedly involves 40- to 50-million dollars in U-S ag exports. Paap says this is something Minnesota farmers are very happy about, "especially those involved in soybeans and pork production because those are the two big winners in this case."
The Commerce Department says the trade war with China and tariffs have cost U-S companies and farmers billions of dollars since February of 2018.
