MN passes the One Million COVID-19 Test Mark

Numbers released Thursday by the Minnesota Department of Health indicate 745 new COVID-19 cases bringing Minnesota’s Cumulative total to 53,692 positive cases of the Coronavirus in the state, out of 1,007,882 tests conducted. 6,181 are health care workers.
Of the 53,692 positive cases, 46,965 patients
no longer need to be isolated.
5,112 cases have required hospitalization so
far, and 298 of them are still hospitalized. 141 of the current hospitalized
are in the ICU.
The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,594
people have now died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Wilkin County has 25 cases, Otter Tail has 162
cases. Becker County has 129 cases. Douglas County has 120 cases. Grant County
has 44 cases and Clay has 734 cases.
In North Dakota, Cass County has 2,872 cases,
Richland County has 82 cases.
There are 6,301 total cases in North Dakota
The Minnesota Department of Health reminds the
public that not all cases of COVID-19 are being tested. So these numbers do not
represent the total number of people in Minnesota that have or had COVID-19.
These numbers represent the number of cases that were tested.
