(MNN) The T-S-A and M-S-P International Airport are investigating a traveler's complaints of inappropriate behavior by an airport security agent.
Native American activist and Minnesota-born Tara Houska tweeted that when she was at the airport Monday a T-S-A agent pulled her braids behind her shoulders, laughed, said "giddyup" and snapped the braids like reins. Houska says as a Native woman she was humiliated.
The airport issued an apology to the Bemidji woman on Twitter. T-S-A says it's reviewing video from the security checkpoint to determine what happened and "will take appropriate action should an investigation substantiate the traveler’s allegation."
