(MNN) The sentence is nine years in prison for a Sauk Rapids man who forced his way into a local business and tried to sexually assault an employee.
Thirty-nine-year-old Matthew Pearson pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct in Benton County.
Police were called to Wash N Tan August 19th after a woman called 9-1-1 screaming,"He won't get off me!" Officers found Pearson behind a counter and a female victim with her pants partially torn off.
She said she was working alone when Pearson knocked and she thought he needed help.
The woman was able to dial 9-1-1 before he pushed her to the ground, trying to remove her pants and kiss her.
