(MNN) The Waseca police officer who was shot in the head remains hospitalized in stable, but critical condition.
Officer Arik Matson was shot January 6th while responding to a report a suspicious person and taken to North Memorial in Robbinsdale.
Pastor Kaleb Hurley of Hope Church in Albert Lea updated Matson's condition in a Facebook video.
Hurley says Matson is still in the woods and has a really long road ahead of him. Arik still needs some help with breathing at times and doctors are stabilizing his treatments. Hurley says Matson can answer some questions with a hand squeeze or a thumbs-up. He says Arik still needs prayers.
